Trunk License Bulb Replacement Time: 1 hour Tab: $1 to $20 Talent: 2 Tools: Trim removal tool, T20 Torx driver Applicable Models: Mercedes-Benz C250 (2012-14) Mercedes-Benz C300 (2008-14) Mercedes-Benz C350 (2008-14) Parts Required: Bulbs Hot Tip: Remove the trunk liner versus the module Performance Gain: You can see you license plate at night Complementary Modification: Check door panel lights and switches If you get a fix it ticket because one or both of your trunk license bulbs has burnt out don't pay someone else to fix it for you, you can do it yourself in under an hour and save all kinds of money. While you can remove the light assembly above the plate it can be difficult, and the retaining clips can sometime break. I recommend removing the trunk panel and changing out the bulbs from inside the trunk.
