The windshield reservoir on the Mercedes C350 has the level sensor, windshield fluid pump and on some models the headlight washer pump all attached to it. Our project car did not come with the headlight washers so in this article we will show you how to remove and replace the windshield pump, the level sender as well as the reservoir itself. The reservoir is located in the front left corner of the vehicle and the pump sits on the outside of the reservoir itself.
You will need to safely jack up and support your Mercedes to change out the reservoir so please see our article on safely lifting and supporting your vehicle.
Before you begin use a fluid pump and suck as much fluid form the reservoir as you can. The pump is right near the bottom of the reservoir so any liquid above the pump line will spill out when you remove it.
Replace your windshield reservoir, pump and level sending unit with these step by step instructions
